Dear all,

I'm very surprised to receive this email. There is neither negotiation nor agreement at all.

I was hosting a visitor from New York at Canaan Church. I was not expecting anyone from WMPC to be there. The conversation last for one minute at the end regarding the Mountain View Property issue. Let me clarify that I did NOT make any statement like that. I told Joanna that we can NOT meet with Pastor Lee and the communication should go through our legal counselors. As I also mentioned, I can not make any decision by myself.

Regards,

- David

Dear Elder David:

Yesterday WMPC's co-worker met with you and according to her conversation with you, Cannan church has agreed to sell the property to WMPC.

Yesterday, we received the following email from our attorney indicating Ms. Gruen is pushing WMPC to dismiss the appeal by noon today. WMPC tried several times to meet with Cannan church's elders to discuss about this issue, however, we never got a chance.

We'd like to kindly request you to consider the following:

1. meet with WMPC's co-workers and pastor Lee in person and discuss about Pastor Lee's personal signature on the settlement contract;

2. deduct rent for 12 days (from 9/19 to 9/30) from WMPC's deposit being held by Cannan church now;

3. dismiss attorneys and resume conversation between two churches directly in Lord Christ.

Thank you very much! May God greatly bless you!

Chris:

My client is not in direct negotiations with yours.  If you do not dismiss the appeal, deliver the settlement agreement, signed by the church and Pastor Lee individually, and deliver rent per my prior email by noon tomorrow September 21, 2022, we will have the stipulated judgment entered and proceed with eviction.Your cooperation is anticipated and appreciated.
